Musings.

Well I never did get back to update did I. Like so much of my life lately its just waiting in the side line for when I get the chance.

I don't know what I will do with Zigzag Baby, or my little blog which I enjoyed for a while... Not sure where I'm at and what I'm up to. I had so many dreams and hopes for Zigzag Baby but unfortunately they were dashed by the need to get money... so I returned to work and now time is the issue. Time. Not enough of it, time running out, time is up, time to go, time to stop, time to think, time to pay attention, time for them, time for me... time goes on... time seems to be the only constant really.

I don't know what to do or when I'll decide...

Its time to get the act together again... a little.

As the title says its time to get going... I've missed blogging and my little online community. I've still been sewing and had a crafty old Christmas but I haven't been blogging and I haven't been sewing for the store either hence it remains closed... not sure what I will do with that. Some changes coming I guess...

Have been having some wonderful finds in the oppy of late. Some gorgeous vintage table and bed linens and sewing patterns along with some great $3 dresses. I made all the kids pencil rolls for Christmas, and I've gone absolutely crazy on skirts. I hope to update the blog in the next couple of weeks so please bear with me and stay tuned for an update ah-lah Arthur style...

No more blogging, blog surfing, checking out etsy, cruising ebay for fabric bargains, googling, facebook, forums, NO MORE COMPUTER until I have 5 items on my ever increasing to do list completed.

I think this might actually kill me...

Meika's Vintage Sheet Swap

Well as I sit here feeling rather dreadful from I'm not sure what (a virus of sorts?) I'm very excited to announce I've found a use for some of yesterdays Oppy loot: The Vintage Sheet Fat Quarter Swap over at Meika's Little Treasures. Meika was inspired by this swap at Oh Fransson but missed out. The generous thing then decided to hold one of her own for the rest of us who missed it and I'm so greatful she has! Now I have an excuse for more Opping! Woo hoo!

This is the loot from my latest Opportunity Shopping Spree - the local Salvos this time!

Two gorgeous vintage pillow cases, a girls dress pattern, an assortment of vintage and not so vintage buttons (check out the cute floral ones in the middle!), a belt buckle and of course the square self covering buttons!

...and this cute little piece of fabric - perfect for a summer dress for Miss L2!

Plus about 2m of a hot pink french terry that will make great house pants (not pictured). How much did this set me back? $15 the lot!! I love shopping hehehehehehe.
